Torres 10, formally known as Torres 10 Gran Reserva, is the most recognized Spanish brandy worldwide, originating from the Penedès region in Catalonia, Spain.
It is made from a wine distillate of traditional local white grapes (Macabeo, Parellada, and Xarel·lo). Its main characteristic is its aging process, which uses the traditional Solera system. The oldest brandies (soleras) in the blend are up to 10 years old, aged in American oak barrels.
The result is a brandy of a dark topaz color with golden hues. On the nose, it is intense with warm aromas of cinnamon and vanilla. On the palate, it is smooth, rich in tannins, with a persistent finish that reveals nuances of oak.
