Descripción
Jack Daniel’s is a Tennessee Whiskey, a distinct category from bourbon, produced in Lynchburg, Tennessee.
Its defining feature is the “Lincoln County Process,” which involves filtering the new spirit drop-by-drop through a 10-foot layer of sugar maple charcoal. This step, done before aging in new, charred American oak barrels, provides its characteristic smoothness and flavor.
It is made from a mash bill of 80% corn, 12% malted barley, and 8% rye, using iron-free spring water from the distillery’s cave.
