Johnnie Walker Double Black is a blended Scotch whisky that builds on the flavor profile of the classic Johnnie Walker Black Label, offering a smokier and more intense experience.

To achieve this, it incorporates a higher proportion of whiskies from the West Coast and Islands of Scotland, which are naturally smoky and peaty. The blend is also matured in heavily charred old oak casks.

Unlike the 12-year-old Black Label, Double Black has no age statement. The flavor is full-bodied and complex with signature peat smoke, notes of raisins and apples, and a warm finish with lingering spice. It is essentially a smokier interpretation of Black Label.
